Royal Beach is a small, secluded cove tucked just below the cliffs of Mornington. With its sheltered bay waters, rocky outcrops, and colourful cliffs, it offers a picturesque and intimate setting that feels private and peaceful.


Access is relatively easy, with parking nearby and a short walk down, making it suitable for most families and dogs. The beach itself has a mix of sand and rock, giving plenty of variety for portraits and play.


Dogs are welcome here, but as always it’s best to check local signage for seasonal restrictions. Its compact size means it’s ideal for well-behaved pups who can enjoy a relaxed wander without the busyness of larger beaches.


Sunset sessions are especially stunning, with soft golden light bouncing off the cliffs and reflecting over the bay.
